New Year for SU

January 2, 2012 § Leave a comment

Hey Syracuse Students!

Before you head back up to school, check out these cool, new, sustainable features now at school!

  1. Recycling Posters. Now up in every academic and administrative building on campus are new, easy to read, incredibly informative recycling posters. Never again will you have to call over some random stranger to ask “can I recycle this?” They’re not up in the residence halls, but many individuals and floors, and all of BBB have taken the initiative to hang them themselves. You can find the posters here and here, or facing upwards here and here. Oh, and if you look at the pictures on greenuniverscity.com, you’ll see none other than this blogger getting his ‘green’ on.
  2. Sustainability Club. The first meeting for the semester of Syracuse University’s Sustainability Club will take place during the first week we return, on Thursday, January 19th. We’d love to see you all there!
  3. EcoReps. Expect plenty of new programming from the EcoReps, the people who have already been responsible for the water bottle display outside Schine, and the water taste-tests in Shaw!
  4. This Blog. Tell people! Spread the word! Retweet things! Repost things! Help this blogger get the green word out there!

Enjoy the rest of your break!
